Just thought i'd share a success story for the ShieldBuddy. Got delivery of this board last week and it's now controlling 4 stepper motors independently using just one timer and 'micros' and 330 lines of code! The WEEDINATOR now has full differential steering and drive. Running at 200 MHz is fantastic and having 3 cores was just a dream until I noticed the board on an RS Supplies feature. Best £100 I've spent this year! PWM is triggered by monitoring 4 different intervals on the micros function on one of the cores whilst core no.2 was used for serial debugging and core 3 for oversampling some potentiometers for controlling the robot. That's a serious bit of hardware! What is your long term plan for this? Is it some kind of automated weeding machine?
