Hi, I would like to run the board at 3V3 instead 5V. For that I did the modification which are discussed in the following thread aurduino.boards.net/thread/121/rebuild-tc275-5v-3-3v. After the rebuild the voltage is at 3,3V and the LED on the board are on, when I measure the voltage at the pins I get instead of 5V 3,3V, so the modification of the voltage supply seems to work. But the board itself do not work the red led next to the reset pin is constantly on I do not get any connection to the board via usb with the arduino development environment, it throws the message that no board is connected The program which is flashed to the controller do not execute Do I have to change some settings to get the connection? I do need quick response, otherwise I have to build an adapter board to convert the 5V level to 3.3V level on the pins

Please look under the board and give us the part number. The is on the end of the board near the double row connector. It will be something like "4269.03.0621_A" or "4269.03.0621_B1".
Thanks

Well, there is a number 4269.03.0626 but after that there is a white box and no extension like A or B

We have checked the thread on the 3V3 conversion and there is an extra step that is missing. The table in the second PDF explains what to do! 3v3Conversion.pdf (84.23 KB)
3v3Conversion2.pdf (382.37 KB)

I've changed the OR resistors from R320 and R323 to R319 and R324 as it is pictured in the schematics. But the problem endures. The red light next to the reset button is still contineously on. What should i check next?

The communication with the board now is ok, but there is still the problem with the red LED. It seems like there is a permanent reset Signal. Our assumption is, that there is something wrong with the reset button, because of the cnanged voltage supply.

The PORST signal is permanently low at 0.15V, when the reset button is pressed, the PORST signal goes to 0.01V

I have removed the u502 3-pin part next to the IOREF output pin. Now the board works without any failure. Can you give me any information what this u502 part is about, or if there are any constraint in the circuit without this part?

This is a simple reset controller.

can you send the link of the datasheet?, just the information "simple reset controller' is not very helpful!

Hi. To fix the reset. Is it so that the reset chip mcp102-xxx, maybe mcp102_475 should be changed to maybe mcp102_315 due to the voltages monitoring option? \Wiken

Yes! Populate U502 with MCP121T-315E/TT for 3V3 version.

Hi, The PCB I have is marked S/N: 4269.03.0626 but the picture over the board layout, for the hitex Shieldbuddy PCB as I have found do not comply. Can you help me and present a picture over the board layout as will comply to the PCB with S/N: 4269.03. \Moss
