The AURduino can be powered from the USB connector or the jack socket. When some shields are fitted, the current drain to too high for the USB option and the board will not working properly. Generally the AURduino cannot be powered from an USB hub, especially unpowered ones. The usual symptom of this is that applications are unreliable and the red Reset LED flashes randomly. The solution is to move the jumper from the USB to the VDC position and use an external 6V to 9V power supply connected via the jack socket.
