Hi,
Please make sure you have the 32-bit JVM installed. Sometimes only the 64-bit version is installed automatically.

Hi thanks for the fperfect support, now I can start, but after the workspace is created I get an error message which leads to a log file that starts with (same when using a different directory than the default):

Hi,
I tried to start with a workspace in the folder C:\Hitex\AURduino\Eclipse and immediatly after pressing "OK" I get the error message.
I tried several other folders but Eclipse never started. Than I tried to start DAVE4 in the workspace folder, and it also did not start "The workspace is not compatible with current DAVE, please create a new workspace using current DAVE" (never seen this before) Then I started DAVE in another folder and switched to the workspace C:\Hitex and this worked.
But I could not start the Eclipse for TriCore in any folder (I even tried the standard DAVE workspace folder and an USB stick).

Hi,
I wonder if you are using the correct version of Eclipse? It seems you also have DAVE4 which is nothing to do with the ShieldBuddy tools. Please make sure you are using this Eclipse:
C:\HIGHTEC\ide\eclipse-v1.6.1\Eclipse.exe

Hi, I just tried the DAVE to see if other eclipse based programs are also facing problems. If I click on the file (also tried start as administrator)you described than I get all the problems we discussed, it is not starting.

Hi,
This looks like an Eclipse problem. I think you will need to contact support@hightec-rt.com as they have more experience with this.
