Setting pins simultaneously

It is possible to setup pin states and then enable them simultaneously in the same way as the Arduino.

However there are some limitations which I suspect also apply to the Arduino. The pins to be enabled simultaneously must be on the same TC275 GPIO port. This table shows how the TC275 ports map to the Arduino connectors. This is also on page 44 of the ShieldBuddy manual.

You could use:

P02_OUT.U = B10101000;

This sets Arduino pins 3 to 8 to outputs and then all are written to simultaneously with the P02_OUT.U = B10101000.

These SFRs are all in the Tc275 User Manual. You generally need to add ".U" to the SFR name given in the manual.

Presumably you will need to be able to change the state of each of the 24 pins independently after they have all be switched on?
