It is possible to setup pin states and then enable them simultaneously in the same way as the Arduino.
However there are some limitations which I suspect also apply to the Arduino. The pins to be enabled simultaneously must be on the same TC275 GPIO port. This table shows how the TC275 ports map to the Arduino connectors. This is also on page 44 of the ShieldBuddy
manual.
