I just received the ShieldBuddy and have installed the softwares, but when compiling in Arduino, I'm getting the No valid license error. I did copy the license file to C:\HighTec\licenses folder. What is needed to correct this error?

Hi,
You should have received a .lic file from Hightec by email!

I did receive the license.lic and had put it in the C:\HighTec\licenses folder as I stated in the original post. Doing a search of the forum didn't help either.

Ok, I got Arduino to compile, but it has a problem finding the ShieldBuddy. This is the message it presents, any suggestions?

This can happen if you have the wrong type of Shieldbuddy selected in the Arduino IDE boards menu. Most Shieldbuddy have the TC275 CA step fitted but there are a few around with the DC step.

Thanks for the help, I got it working by selecting the ShieldBuddy TC275_Dx.
