Looking for a little clarification regarding the voltage requirements through the jack socket. These two sentences were copied from different versions of the manual. The second sentence is from what appears to be the most current manual. Can you please confirm which statement is correct. I'm wanting to use an A123 battery in my application which has a nominal voltage of 6.6v and 7.2v fully charged.
The ShieldBuddy can be powered from USB or from 7-12V on the jack socket. The ShieldBuddy can be powered from USB or from 6V to 9V on the jack socket.

6.6V through the jack socket should be OK.

Hello, can I feed 12V on the Jack Socket?

This is rather high and we recommend 9V. The latest ShieldBuddies may be OK at 12V but if there are shields fitted that use the on-board 5V regulator, then make sure it does not get too hot!
