I am a new member so please forgive me if the answer is obvious.

What does the community recommend for a good Ethernet and SD shield that would work with this board while also allowing the 3 serial ports to work?

All the shields I have come across have ICSP pins which are not found on the Hitex board. So will they work?

The ShieldBuddy does have the six ICSP pins fitted so any of these shields will fit.
