For the project I'm currently working on, we need to control over 300 stepper motors to make a interactive kinetic ceiling installation. Currently we're thinking of using each board to control a cluster of motors with 1 board to be the master to sync everything together with I2C. But I've read that shieldbuddies can't be used as a slave so is there a workaround around that? Or is there any better way to control this many stepper motors?
